"Garikula, this bright place in the valley of the Tedsami, scene of Georgian struggles for power over centuries until today, appears to us so romantically and lovely that one inevitably searches after the darkness, after the pain and the tragedies under this light-through-flooded surface. The bad, uncanny radiations, welfare-ends energies, spirit, Spuk and Spenster, smoke and wars and prisoners, child corpses and the blood of the sacrificed animals, all those spirits ores in me in these delyric days. The wind of the Caucasus that is for me the spirit I met here, that are the dark and light angels in us and around us. And the pilot in the warplane above us in the height, of the squad of the Eagles of Saakashvili, is nevertheless also actually an angel of the sky or the underworld, here or in the mutilated Iraq."

"Garikula, dieser leuchtende Ort im Tal des Tedsami, Schauplatz georgischer Machtkämpfe über Jahrhunderte bis heute, erscheint uns so romantisch und lieblich, dass man unweigerlich nach dem Dunkel, dem Schmerz und der Tragödie unter dieser lichtdurchfluteten Oberfläche suchen möchte. Das Böse, unheimliche Strahlungen, heilende Energien, Geister, Spuk und Spenster, Rauch und Kriege und Gefangene, Kinderleichen und das Blut der Opfertiere- das alles geisterte in mir in diesen delirischen Tagen. Der Wind des Kaukasus- das sind für mich die hier versammelten Geister, das sind die dunklen und lichten Engel in uns und über uns. Und der Pilot im Jagdflieger über uns in der Höhe, von der Staffel der Adler des Saakaschwili, ist doch auch eigentlich ein Engel, des Himmels oder der Unterwelt, hier oder im zerfetzten Irak"
